Reduction, Mitigation and Adaptation
- PMC develops effective and appropriate emission reduction measures, mitigation strategies, and adaptation programs that include cost/benefit analysis and other strategies to prioritize implementation.
Climate Action Plans/Climate Change Elements
- PMC develops robust and defensible climate action plans and climate change elements that are coordinated with other local, regional and state plans that address climate change.
Implementation and Education
- PMC implements climate change emission reduction and adaptation policies (contract staffing, alternative energy programs and site development, green building codes, public outreach, public/staff training, etc.).
Grants and Monitoring
- PMC writes grants and conducts research on financing opportunities for climate change and sustainability plans, programs and activities.
